Auvarna along with Shri Mataji Gaushala is constantly working towards gau sanrakshan and nasal sudhar of desi cow breeds that are on the verge of extinction like Red Sindhi, Rathi, Gir, Sahiwal and others.
Located on the outskirts of Barsana, Shri Mataji Gaushala is one of the largest gaushalas in India. It was established by Maan Mandir Sewa Sansthan Trust under the inspiration and guidance of the revered saint Shri Ramesh Baba Ji Maharaj (Padma Shree awardee) on 7th July 2007. Started by adopting 5 cows, the gaushala now nurtures and protects 55,000 cows, bulls and calves.
These cattle were adopted and saved from slaughterhouses, leather traders and from the owners who abandoned them due to non-commercial value. Our team primarily focused on providing these cows a homely environment by treating them like family. At our farm proper care is given, cattle are left free (not tied or forced), to keep them at a healthy pace. Also, the calf is not separated after birth from the mother cow and given proper space to have their mother’s milk, which is their first right. Once they are completely fed then only milking is done in ethical and traditional ways that do not harm our cows.
We have a variety of native Indian A2 cows like Tharparkar, Rathi, Gir, Sahiwal, Red Sindhi, Hariana and other desi cows. A natural and loving environment is created for the cattle so they can live happily and thereby provide happy cow milk. Further this milk is delivered to our customers without any harmful additives, chemicals or any other preservatives or hormones. The purity of cow milk is maintained so you can taste the goodness of our fresh desi cow A2 Milk and A2 milk products.
